If you haven’t felt the pain of pitching, I applaud you, and you have been able to avoid the landmines and hopefully draft an excellent pitching staff! Thankfully, there are a handful of exciting pitching adds in store, but we can plug far more hitting streams with decent confidence. Remember, if we are diligent all year long and can put out good, quality lineups with good pitching choices and solid bats that will take us a long way in roto, no need to overcomplicate things too much.

Best schedules:

ATL, BAL, CWS, DET, KC, LAA, MIA, MIN, NYY, OAK, STL, TB, TEX all play a 7-game week (Mon-Sun).

Worst schedules:

Two teams have a noticeably bad schedule this week, with just 5 games from SDP. Additionally, SF misses Fri with SD, making them less attractive in NFBC.

Brett Baty	NYM	3B	$75-$140	If somehow available, I understand an aggresive push to land him, he has strong plate skills and good power despite too many GBs.
Jake Burger	CWS	3B	$10-$24	Nice power bat off waviers, career .252 ISO
Spencer Steer	CIN	3B	$10-$24	Worse skills than Burger and better home park, not exciting but he could be fine.
Rodolfo Castro	PIT	2B/SS/3B	$15-$30	Solid power/speed blend with poor AVG, but triple eligible.
Oswald Peraza	NYY	SS	$8-$30	Getting FT tick so far and will pick up other positions, could get sent back down though.
Jack Suwinski	PIT	OF	$10-$24	Nice power bat off waviers, career .229 ISO
Jarren Duran	BOS	OF	$10-$24	Smoking the ball at a career best, 64% HHR, playing regularly with strong speed on the basepaths.

Mason Miller	OAK	P	$80-$140	Projections are gah gah over Miller’s video game stuff but he lacks wins potential and IP floor with injury risk. Regardless his ceiling is truly limitless and if you need pitching I understand backing up the Brinks truck.
Brandon Pfaadt	ARI	P	$40-$60	He’s been stashed in 15s, but I would make sure he isn’t on FA in 12s.
Matt Strahm	PHI	P	$28-$54	Great 15% SwStr and holding velo after transitioning to SP from pen.
Griffin Canning	LAA	P	$15-$25	Pitching well but this guy has huge injury risk, so beware. 15.1 IP since 2021.
Gavin Stone	LAD	P	$1-$20	Bid will depend on if there is news surrounding him, could absolutely explode in LAD rotation, monster 2022 MiLB campaign, FB/CH guy.
Logan Allen	CLE	P	$1-$20	Sunday’s performance will dictate bids, good MiLB track record could stick in rotation since there is opportunity.
Brad Boxberger	CHC	P	$20-$40	Might be the CHC CL, decent-ish skills, reminds me of Dylan Floro where he is not exciting but might be decent enough to steal some saves.

Yainer Diaz	HOU	UT/C	$1	Taking a long time to get C appearances, and can only be stashed in leagues with no stashes since the Astros love Maldy defense, but he has nice upside in the bat.
Francisco Alvarez	NYM	UT/C	$1	He was dumped in some leagues and he is nearing C eligibility, most of our rosters cannot handle adding him, but just putting him here to be aware.
Joey Wendle	MIA	2B/3B/SS	$1-$3	Very boring but returning from injury and mildly useful.
Jordan Diaz	OAK	2B/3B	$1	Just a nice prospect stash that could hit solidly, lineup and park make me say only bid a dollar.
Travis Jankowski	TEX	OF	$1	Speed streamer while he plays.
Randal Grichuk	COL	OF	$1-$3	Coming off the IL within a matter of a week or so and should hit high in the Rockies lineup, Coors streamer with power.
Sam Hilliard	ATL	OF	$1	Atlanta could unlock him and I’ll take that chance for a dollar. Big MaxEV guy, career best 57% HHR.
Ross Stripling	SFG	P	$10-$15	Stashable decent SP. Wouldn’t use against SD.

Will Wagner	HOU	INF	$1	Billy Wagner’s son, great OBP guy but tricky to see him being a MLB regular, still like the skills despite limited pop.
Blaze Alexander	ARI	SS	$1	Raking and could unseat an AZ SS for PT. Not a huge ceiling but as a cheap add he could find MLB PT if he returns well from thumb injury.
